solarexperts.cc is a price comparison site. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no newsletter, so we do not collect your name, email address or any other personal details.

What this site keeps in your browser

Two settings are stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to us: your light or dark mode choice, and the system builder's filters (which makers and stores to include). You can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Shared build links

When you create a short link to a system-builder build, we store the build itself: the product ids, quantities, design temperature and the date. Nothing about who made the link is stored.

Advertising and affiliate partners

Pages show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's ad settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Many links to stores are affiliate links (eBay Partner Network, Amazon Associates and individual stores' programmes). When you follow one, the store may set a cookie so that a purchase can be credited to us; this costs you nothing. Those cookies are set by the store under its own privacy policy, not ours.

Pages also load the Awin affiliate network's script, which records clicks on links to stores in Awin's network, sets a cookie so a resulting purchase can be credited to us, and may turn a plain link to such a store into a tracked one. SeeAwin's privacy policy.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes requests to serve the site and protect it from abuse, which involves your IP address. We do not run any analytics of our own.

Our Instagram and Facebook publishing

We use the Instagram and Facebook APIs only to publish posts to our own accounts (@solarexperts.ccand our Facebook Page) and to read the comments and insights on those posts, so we can reply. The app does not log anyone else in, and collects no data from other people's accounts. Comments on our posts are read where they were posted and are not stored on this site.

Deleting your data

Because we hold no personal data, there is normally nothing to delete. Anything you post on our Instagram or Facebook pages you can delete there yourself. If you believe we hold something about you, or want a shared build link removed, message us onInstagramor our Facebook Page and we will remove it within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page will change first, with a new date at the top.
